What are file folder games?

File folder games are educational materials placed in a file folder to enhance generalization of targeted areas of learning (such as learning and mastering colors and shapes). File folder games can be used individually, as an interactive activity between a student and a teacher, or as a group.

Is this a computer game?

No, we sell digital files of our file folder game educational activities. These are offered individually, or they can be purchased on a disc containing 12 activities. The files are in a PDF format, and can be opened easily using Adobe Acrobat Reader (which you can obtain for free here). If you buy a disc, you just put it into your computer (any PC or Mac operating system works fine) and double click to open up the file you want. Then print! It's that easy! We will be expanding in the future to include interactive computer games using our current images and activities.

Why is your product different than anything else available?

  • Minimize storage by having the games on CDs as opposed to large books, therefore leaving room available for other supplies.
  • Ease of downloading and printing directly in the classroom or home, freeing up time to spend on teaching. Also, our method saves paper - only print what you need!
  • Creative (yet easy to understand) visuals and a variety of educational themes.
  • Different levels of learning within each game - your student or child grows with the activity! We begin at a basic level for those children to teach colors, shapes, letters and numbers. Our activities also include Intermediate and advanced levels for those students that have mastered basic skills needed to generalize their success.
